DNS (Domain Name System) constitutes one of the most critical infrastrucural components of the Internet. Without DNS neither web nor e-mail nor any other application normally associated with the Internet would work.
After having been used in the same way for more than 15 years, the DNS usage is now facing a complete renewal as a number of new extensions are gaining popularity. Examples are the introduction of IDN (interational characters in domain names) and DNSSEC, the security extension enabling you to verify that a DNS reply is authentic. For this reason DNS planning has become a strategic question to many organisations.
Our teachers are pioneers in the development of the Internet, and have a vast amount of experience of DNS. They work actively with the development of this area, and have developed and delivered very succesful DNS courses for many years.
