Combined IMS Training
This is a five-day technical training of IMS. The course combines theoretical sessions with practical exercises. The course is combind with our trainings; IMS technical, Diameter and IMS Business drivers/implementations.
This training is going into the details within IMS, the architecture, protocols and applications/services, the Diameter protocols as well as business perspectives on IMS solutions and how IMS can/will be implemented.
Practical exercises are included in the course. The exercises are performed using the “Open IMS” platform, allowing the participants to see all signalling between all IMS nodes in an R6 IMS environment.
Target group
This course is important for engineers, designers and people working with developing, testing and planning of IMS systems. Also the training will complement with business perspectives on IMS.
This course is aimed towards engineers who need to understand how IMS is designed and works as well as using different types of access.
Prerequisites
This course requires knowledge equivalent to our course SIP Fundamentals. This means understanding of VoIP/multimedia in realtime communication and basic knowledge about SIP. This course will be even more beneficial for participants having more than basic understanding for SIP, equivalent to our course SIP Advanced.
